MarkPoint is a professional B2B platform offering advanced anti-piracy and brand protection solutions. It serves as a digital fortress for brands, communicating complex anti-piracy capabilities, service depth, and providing global takedown workflows for businesses facing digital infringement.

Why I built this

Brands and content creators are constantly fighting digital piracy, but many anti-piracy service websites are confusing, outdated, or fail to communicate process and outcomes effectively. I developed MarkPoint to bridge this gap, providing a highly credible, fast, and modern interface that converts frustrated brands into confident clients.

Frontend

  • Next.js: Essential for B2B SEO, ensuring service pages rank well for highly specific industry keywords.
  • Tailwind CSS: Enabled a sleek, corporate, and trust-inspiring visual identity.

Backend

  • Node.js: Provides a stable, scalable environment for the backend services.
  • PostgreSQL: Chosen for its robust relational data model, ensuring high data integrity for critical client and case records.

Lead Generation Funnel

  • Built a multi-step, dynamic onboarding form that captures necessary infringement details while minimizing drop-off rates.

Secure Data Management

  • Implemented robust encryption and secure API endpoints to handle sensitive corporate data and legal takedown information.

Technical Challenges & Solutions

Challenge 1: Balancing Information Density with UX

  • Problem: Enterprise services require conveying massive amounts of technical and legal information without overwhelming the user.
  • Solution: Developed a progressive disclosure UI, using accordions, tabbed interfaces, and modal deep-dives to keep the top-level pages clean and scannable.

Challenge 2: High-Performance B2B SEO

  • Problem: Competing for high-value B2B search terms requires flawless technical SEO.
  • Solution: Implemented dynamic XML sitemaps, structured schema markup (JSON-LD) for services, and achieved a 95+ Lighthouse score across all metrics.

Performance Optimizations

  • Migrated heavy client-side rendering to Server-Side Rendering (SSR) to improve initial page load times for enterprise clients on strict corporate networks.
  • Minimized third-party tracking scripts and loaded them asynchronously to prevent render-blocking.

Future Technical Improvements

  • Build an automated web scraper integration to actively detect brand infringements across specific domains.
  • Develop an automated PDF report generation tool for clients summarizing monthly takedown successes.
  • Add Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) within the client portal for different corporate stakeholders (Legal, Marketing, IT).
